Models prior to 2010: the cable is needed to run the mapping setting function only. For this function, the cables 3151/AP26 and 3151/AP27 are needed also. The cable 3151/AP30 must be connected to the service socket dedicated to the mapping setting and not to the common diagnostic socket. Models from 2010 (included): the cable is needed for the diagnosis and for the mapping setting. For the diagnosis, the cables 3151/AP26 and 3151/AP31 are needed also. The cable 3151/AP31 must be connected to the diagnostic socket and to the tool. The cable 3151/AP30 must be connected to the service socket dedicated to the mapping setting and to an external battery using the cable 3151/AP26. The cable 3151/AP30 does not have to be connected to the diagnostic tool. For the mapping setting, only the cable 3151/AP26 (that must be connected to an external battery) is needed. The cable 3151/AP30 must be connected to the socket dedicated to the mapping setting and to the diagnostic tool.
